We Mediterranean Parola Corpo Parola

As part of the We Mediterranean project, the somatic research of artists Maddalena Iodice and Giuditta Vettese meets the word-work of Maria Luce Cacciaguerra and Allison Grimaldi Donahue (Murmur). Breath, movement, and the encounter with the boundaries of space and skin will be the starting points for a deep, embodied practice of attention—one that allows words to surface freely and without constraint.

4.30 – 6.30 pm Poetry Workshop The first part will be led by the artists; the second guided by Murmur, during which participants’ poetic texts will be shared, read aloud, and collaboratively explored.

7 – 8 pm Reading and performance Readings in Arabic and Italian by Murmur, followed by Prossima Distanza, a performative work by Iodice and Vettese.
