At Cuore, we host the presentation of the book Vittorio Gregotti. Architect of the Modern Project (2025) by Lorenzo Ciccarelli. Gregotti was an architect, urban planner and theorist, recognised as a key figure in the Italian and European architectural debate of the post-war period. Throughout his life, in addition to directing influential magazines and authoring books and essays translated into several languages, he also served as a professor at prestigious universities and curated memorable exhibitions and events. Furthermore, he founded and led a studio which—over more than forty years of activity—developed a wide range of projects, from objects to cities. Gregotti pursued every field of the architectural profession with determination, promoting cultural tendencies and stimulating debate. The volume offers a critical analysis of his figure through thematic chapters that explore his theoretical reflection, cultural tension, role as a public intellectual, projects and multifaceted legacy, portraying a figure that remains, in many aspects, highly relevant today.
