SONDA Arto Lindsay: A Parade

SONDA is the new Voce Triennale's format for artistic and sound experiments in the form of installations. The second appointment is dedicated to Arto Lindsay.

This multichannel installation is produced and recorded by Arto Lindsay in a terreiro in the state of Bahia, a ritual context that inspired the project and shaped its sonic atmosphere. The work transports the listener into the heart of a Carnival parade, animated by the hypnotic rhythm of an afoxé. The percussion moves throughout the space and envelops the listener, transforming Voce into a chaotic and festive Brazilian street.
