SeiMilano – Story of a Metamorphosis

A work of urban regeneration carried out in the territory of Milan is narrated through the photographs of the collective Urban Reports. The exhibition, curated by Benedetta Donato, gathers a selection of the Urban Reports photo campaign lasted 5 years. The authors have taken up the highlights of the transformation of the landscape, paying continuous attention to the space of the construction site and the birth of the new inhabited park. Through the photographs exhibited we witness the story of an extraordinary evolution, which starts from the potential of the place, meets the creative genius of the two designers involved—architect Mario Cucinella and landscape designer Michel Desvigne—and gives us unprecedented perspectives of the renovated site. The images show us the complexity of the change of a large portion of the city's territory that has been able to understand the principles underlying the policies and interventions of urban and human regeneration.
