Sarah Ackland Run: Taking Space Milan

November 2 2025, 5.45pm
Free participation upon registration
During Milano Arch Week 2025, we organize a run open for all who identifies as women, followed by a lecture. Taking Space is a curated research platform that aims to challenge and subvert the perception, expectations and experiences of women in space. Through collective movement and discussion it seeks to understand the gendered limitations in public space and consider what can be done to create change. Founded by Sarah Ackland in 2021, Taking Space is women-led and aims to disrupt the accepted gender politics in spaces. Taking Space is discursive and experimental in its approach, and centres all those who identify as women but aims to include everyone in the conversations.
