Playful Sculptures
Naoto Fukasawa for JAKUETS

The YUUGU series was designed by Naoto Fukasawa to make play equipment equal to sculptural objects. For Milan Design Week, the YUUGU series is placed outside Triennale as Playful Sculpture, creating a space where children and adults can have fun and spend time freely. An invitation to perceive the creativity and beauty hidden in playfulness. The objects include OMOCHI, which looks like a slide, but whose smooth surface also invites children to explore the joy of touch; BANRI, which creates endless play with its ring of slopes; and finally HOUSE and DONUT, which inspire hiding places and imaginative exploration.
