Pit Stop. Nuovo design italiano
Crafts is the first appointment of Pit Stop. Nuovo design italiano (New Italian Design), curated by Marco Sammicheli, Director of the Museo del Design Italiano at Triennale Milano. A series of meetings dedicated to contemporary Italian design and in particular to some of the practices that different generations of designers face in order to overcome the challenges of the present time. Some of these experiences are necessary metamorphoses, others significant adaptations, others revisions of codes. Three appointments dedicated respectively to craftsmanship, vernacular culture, and visual communication of new media. Benedetta Pomini, Margherita Crespi, Martina Bragadin, founders of Spazio Meta, Nina Salsotto of Unurgent Argilla, and Tsukasa Goto will be involved in the first talk.
