A special itinerary through the works in our permanent collection, also featuring the recent acquisitions. The exhibition presents the most significant objects in the collection, designed and produced between the 1930s and the 2000s, placing them in dialogue with the history of Triennale and opening up new and unprecedented perspectives on the history of Italian design. The works are arranged in a unified, chronological itinerary. Specific objects become the starting point for digressions that depart from this linearity, giving rise to cross-cutting reflections on the concept of Italian design. These insights, achieved through different exhibition techniques and formats, highlight the main technological and typological innovations that have characterized Italian design, as well as the link between everyday objects and the changing concept of living and lifestyles over time.
