Free admission upon registration
On the occasion of 900 Satellites, a site specific performance by Némo Flouret part of FOG festival, Triennale Milano and the Institut français invite audiences to a special encounter dedicated to the artist’s work.
The event opens with a short film by Evi Cats, offering insight into the project’s methodology and development. Conceived as a raw and adaptable choreographic form, 900 Satellites continuously reshapes itself in response to each space it inhabits, creating a direct and evolving relationship between bodies, movement and environment. Featuring images from its first iteration at Bozar in Brussels, presented within the European project PIT: Perform Inform Transform, the film explores how the work adapts to diverse contexts, including museum spaces, and reflects on the presence of the performing body within exhibition environments.
This screening is followed by a conversation with Némo Flouret, moderated by Maria Luisa Buzzi, journalist, dance critic, and editor-in-chief of the magazine Danza&Danza, and a preview of an upcoming feature film by César Vayssié. Closely accompanying Flouret’s latest creation, Derniers Feux, which premiered at the Festival d’Avignon in 2025, the film documents an immersive and itinerant creative process developed in Calabria, across Soverato, Catanzaro and Badolato.
Dancer and choreographer trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur of Paris and P.A.R.T.S., Némo Flouret works at the crossroads of disciplines, gathering groups of artists together in a multiplicity of spaces. From post-industrial relics with 900 Something Days Spent in the XXth Century (2021) to outdoor and theater stage with the group work Derniers Feux (2025) to Antti Lovag's utopian architecture with Dance Parc (2024) or Forêt (2022), a performance co-created with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker as part of the Festival d'Automne for the Denon wing of the Musée du Louvre, Flouret's work questions how people and space converse through choreography and performance. Némo Flouret's projects have been presented in various contexts and festivals such as Festival d'Avignon (FR), Seoul Performing Art Festival (KR), Berlin Tanz Im August (DE), Bozar Brussels (BE), Tai Kwun-Hong Kong (HK), Watermill Center (US), La Ménagerie de Verre (FR), amongst many other.
