Thomas Ankersmit in Nuremberg
Concert
Matinée Thomas Ankersmit + Canedicoda
February 15 2026, 11.00am
A series of acoustic and electro-acoustic concerts curated by Nicola Ratti and conceived for the morning hours—when natural light is at its brightest—Matinée invites attentive, intimate listening. Each event offers sound experiences that differ in language and references, yet are united by a central element: the quality of listening. A mode of listening that interacts with space, time, and light, becoming a moment of suspension and perceptual openness.
In this event, musician Thomas Ankersmit presents an analog live set performed with the Serge Modular synthesizer, where electroacoustic improvisation and archival materials intertwine. Completing the line-up is Durante by Canedicoda, an audio-performance based on harmonicas and battery-powered air blowers—an immersive experience centered on exchange and shared presence through sound and movement.
