Material-Minded Design: the Intersection of Trend, Sustainability and the Materials We Use

Materially and Material ConneXion bring together their long shared history in a lectio dedicated to the interconnections between materials, trends and design. During the lecture, we question how materials can provide concrete answers from trends and design directions, while respecting all-around sustainability criteria. Materials manage to translate trends and design directions into the final product, both from an aesthetic and language point of view and in performance and sustainability characteristics.
