The catalog on Kazuko Miyamoto, edited by Luca Cerizza, Zasha Colah and Eva Fabbris, is the most comprehensive monograph published to date on the Japanese artist. From her early post-minimalist phase to her rediscovery of natural materials and artisanal practices, from her interest in performance even in public contexts to her revival of traditional Japanese stylistic features in the last years of her work, the volume investigates the eclectic and free-spirited nature of Miyamoto's work and life and her relationships with the New York scene from the late 1960s to the present. The volume accompanies two monographic exhibitions at the Madre Museum in Naples (2023) and Belvedere 21 in Vienna (2024), curated by Eva Fabbris, contributing to the rediscovery and study of a unique voice in the contemporary art scene.
