At Voce Triennale, we host James Blake, English artist, producer, songwriter and Grammy-winning musician, widely recognised for his distinctive style blending soul, electronica and alt-R&B. For this exclusive Italian event, Blake meets the public on the occasion of the release of his new album Trying Times, due out on 13 March via Good Boy Records/Virgin Music Group. During the event, the artist leads a listening session to preview selected tracks from the new album, a work that promises to be among the most intense and personal of his career. Blake explores the unstable territory between intimacy and isolation in an age of uncertainty, offering a further demonstration of the depth of his sonic research and his ongoing contribution to redefining the language of contemporary music. Following the listening, Blake is available to answer questions from the audience—a rare opportunity to gain closer insight into the sonic universe of one of the most visionary artists of our time. The event is introduced and coordinated by journalist Tommaso Toma.
