November 1 – 2, 2025
Free admission upon registration
How do you design a city that cares—and how do you care for the city? Three forums for a collective discussion.
Two forums based on cases presented at the International Exhibition, consisting of short presentations of projects, experiences, and practices, followed by moments of debate and collective reflection.
Program
November 1, 11 am Forum #1: Democracy in public spaces? Public spaces as agents of care in cities, their inclusiveness—or lack thereof—and how architecture can redistribute power and wealth in this regard.
November 2, 11 am Forum #2: Demolish or transform? The adaptive reuse of buildings, the difficulties this practice encounters, and its ecological, ethical, and architectural value, with a particular focus on the Italian context.
November 2, 2 pm Forum #3: Law and Conflict The right to housing, its assertion, the denial of social spaces, and their reappropriation through various actions, including squatting, social centers, and new practices.
