Un filo di Voce is a monthly series, curated by Carlo Pastore, bringing concerts and performances to the stage on one Sunday each month. The program features Italian and international projects that explore the most vibrant and evolving languages of music, beyond genre boundaries. A subtle thread runs through and connects them, like balls of yarn, needle and twine. Sunday thus becomes a space-time devoted to listening, meeting, and weaving new connections. The protagonist of the new event, from Canada, is ambient and experimental musician claire rousay, joined by a live performance from Domenique Dumont.
claire rousay is a Canadian-American musician, composer, and artist based in Los Angeles. Her practice spans ambient and experimental electronic music, weaving together musique concrète, field recordings, and sound design with strings, piano, and digital textures. Active with labels such as Thrill Jockey and Shelter Press, she is a key figure in the international experimental scene, known for an intimate, emotive, and deeply impressionistic sonic language.
Domenique Dumont is a collaboration between Latvian multi-instrumentalist and producer Arturs Liepins and vocalist, ethnomusicologist Anete Stuce.
