Beth Gibbons

July 11 – 12, 2025
SOLD OUT
Twelve years after the last tour with Portishead that also touched down in our country, the legendary voice of the band that in two records set the definitive essence of trip-hop. 10 splendid tracks recorded over 10 years to constitute a record that represents his most personal work, the result of a period of reflection, change and “many goodbyes,” in Beth's words: to family, friends, even her former self. Songs that come in the middle of the course of life, when looking ahead does not provide the same emotions as it once did and looking back suddenly provides a sharper vision.

Mathew Jonson
A Canadian artist with an unmistakable stylistic signature, Mathew Jonson combines technique, intuition and deep musical knowledge. His training in classical music and jazz is intertwined with the electronics he discovered at parties in his teens, resulting in a personal language expressed through performances played entirely live. His sets, in high demand at clubs and festivals around the world, tell the story of an approach to electronic music that is as handcrafted as it is visionary. Since his recording debut in 2001, he has released on iconic labels such as M_nus, Crosstown Rebels and Kompakt, while contributing to the development of his own label, Wagon Repair. This is complemented by work in collaborative projects such as Cobblestone Jazz, Midnight Operator and Modern Deep Left Quartet.
