Mariella Bettineschi All in One

Mariella Bettineschi is an eclectic and open artist who has produced a body of work characterized by a pyrotechnic series of excursions from one experimentation to another. All in One presents four groups of works made between 1980 and 2023: from padded and decorated organzas to textured tracing papers, to the series L'era successiva [the next era] in which she experiments with the photographic splitting of natures, libraries, and female portraits, shifting the focus from the present to the future.

Mariella Bettineschi (Brescia, 1948) after art high school in 1970 graduated from the Giacomo Carrara Academy of Fine Arts in Bergamo. A feminist artist, she stands out on the international scene for her continuous search for languages capable of narrating, through painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, photography, and digital painting, the centrality of women and their infinite capacity to bring the world into being.
