UN/SENT è la nuova creazione di Amir Reza Koohestani, artista associato di Triennale Milano Teatro e tra i più rilevanti registi e drammaturghi iraniani contemporanei, ideata appositamente per il festival FOG 2026. Il progetto nasce dalla raccolta di messaggi vocali reali, inviati attraverso una open call aperta a tutti, e verrà presentato in prima assoluta a novembre 2026.
In scena, tre performer italiani danno corpo a queste tracce vocali, senza interpretare personaggi né costruire finzioni. Attraverso un montaggio di decine di testimonianze anonime, lo spettacolo compone un ritratto frammentario e collettivo del nostro presente.
Inviaci un messaggio vocale della tua vita quotidiana – uno che hai inviato o uno che hai ricevuto: una parola d’amore, una discussione, una preoccupazione, una lista della spesa.
REQUISITI DI PARTECIPAZIONE
Per partecipare all'open call, è necessario:
– essere maggiorenne (18+)
– vivere in Italia
– non inviare messaggi che includano voci di bambini e minori (a meno che tu possa fornire il consenso scritto di un tutore legale)
I messaggi vocali possono essere in qualsiasi lingua.
COSA PUOI INVIARE
Esistono due modalità di partecipazione:
- MESSAGGI VOCALI INVIATI: Se stai inviando un messaggio vocale che hai registrato e inviato tu stesso, puoi inviarci la registrazione audio originale, la trascrizione oppure entrambe.
- MESSAGGI VOCALI RICEVUTI: Se stai inviando un messaggio vocale che hai ricevuto da qualcun altro, ti chiediamo di inviarci solo la trascrizione. Non inviare la registrazione audio originale.
COME PARTECIPARE
Tutti gli invii devono essere effettuati tramite il nostro Jotform. Il modulo comprende domande a scelta multipla, domande aperte e campi da compilare, e ti guiderà in ogni fase della procedura. A seconda che tu stia condividendo un messaggio inviato o ricevuto, il modulo ti chiederà di caricare una registrazione audio (mp3), fornire una trascrizione (DOC/PDF) e rispondere a una serie di domande sul contesto del messaggio. Ti invitiamo a rispondere al maggior numero possibile di domande. Alcuni campi sono obbligatori, altri facoltativi.
COME TRASCRIVERE UN MESSAGGIO VOCALE
Non ci interessano solo le parole. Un messaggio vocale è fatto anche di tutto ciò che circonda le parole: il respiro prima di una frase, il rumore della strada, il silenzio quando qualcuno non sa cosa dire. Quando trascrivi il tuo messaggio, cerca di annotare anche questi elementi. Ecco un modo semplice per farlo
Scrivi le parole esattamente come sono state pronunciate, compresi dialetto, slang, intercalari (“ehm”, “cioè”), ripetizioni ed errori. Non correggerli.
Inserisci tutto ciò che non è una parola tra parentesi quadre [ ].
Per esempio:
– Pause e silenzi: [pausa breve], [lungo silenzio]
– Una frase che si interrompe a metà: termina con un trattino —
– Una parola incomprensibile: [non chiaro]; una parola di cui non sei sicuro: [forse: domani]
– La voce stessa: [ride], [piange], [sussurra], [urla], [sospira], [voce tremante], [sarcastico]
– I suoni intorno alla voce: [traffico], [TV in sottofondo], [un bambino che piange], [stoviglie], [pioggia], [una porta sbatte]
– Musica: [musica: una canzone alla radio]
– Un’altra voce nella registrazione: [altra voce: “sbrigati”]
– Per dare enfasi, scrivi la parola accentata in MAIUSCOLO, ma solo quando è davvero importante.
– Se cambia la lingua, segnalalo: [passa all’arabo], [in napoletano].

CONSENSO E PRIVACY
- Se hai registrato tu il messaggio (inviato): con il tuo consenso, potremmo utilizzare l’audio originale e/o il suo testo, in forma eventualmente editata, all’interno dello spettacolo.
- Se il messaggio contiene la voce di un’altra persona (ricevuto): invia soltanto la trascrizione. Nel trascrivere un messaggio ricevuto da qualcun altro, rimuovi ogni informazione identificativa. Ometti tutti i dettagli identificativi: indirizzi, numeri di telefono, informazioni finanziarie, nomi e cognomi di altre persone. Le emozioni forti sono benvenute; i dati personali no. Il testo trascritto e anonimo – se selezionato – sarà reinterpretato dai nostri attori, e l'autore del messaggio vocale rimarrà non identificabile.
Puoi compilare il form e partecipare all'open call in forma anonima. In ogni caso, i contatti e dati personali non saranno condivisi con gli artisti e non verranno mai resi pubblici.
TERMINE
Per partecipare all'open call è necessario inviare i messaggi vocali entro e non oltre le ore 12.00 del 2 settembre 2026 attraverso il modulo Jotform.

UN/SENT is the new creation by Amir Reza Koohestani, associate artist of Triennale Milano Teatro and one of the most prominent contemporary Iranian directors and playwrights. Conceived specifically for FOG Festival 2026, the project is based on a collection of real voice messages gathered through an open call open to everyone and will premiere in November 2026.
On stage, three Italian performers embody these voice recordings without playing characters or creating fictional narratives. Through a montage of dozens of anonymous testimonies, the performance builds a fragmented and collective portrait of our present time.
Send us a voice message from your everyday life—one that you have sent or one that you have received: a word of love, an argument, a concern, a shopping list, anything that you genuinely recorded and shared from your phone.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
To take part in the open call, you must:
– Be at least 18 years old (18+)
– Live in Italy
– Not submit messages that include the voices of children or minors (unless you can provide written consent from a legal guardian)
Voice messages may be in any language.
WHAT YOU CAN SUBMIT
There are two ways to participate:
- SENT VOICE MESSAGES: If you are submitting a voice message that you recorded and sent yourself, you may submit the original audio recording, the transcript, or both.
- RECEIVED VOICE MESSAGES: If you are submitting a voice message that you received from someone else, please submit only the transcript. Do not send the original audio recording.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
All submissions must be made through our Jotform. The form includes multiple-choice questions, open-ended questions, and fields to complete, guiding you through every step of the process.
Depending on whether you are sharing a sent or received message, the form will ask you to upload an audio recording (MP3), provide a transcript (DOC/PDF), and answer a series of questions about the context of the message.
We encourage you to answer as many questions as possible. Some fields are mandatory, while others are optional.
HOW TO TRANSCRIBE A VOICE MESSAGE
We are interested not only in the words themselves. A voice message also includes everything surrounding those words: the breath before a sentence, the sound of the street, the silence when someone does not know what to say.
When transcribing your message, try to note these elements as well. Here is a simple way to do it.
Write the words exactly as spoken — including dialect, slang, filler words (“ehm”, “cioè”), repetitions and mistakes. Don’t tidy them up.
Put everything that is not a word inside square brackets [ ].
For example:
– Pauses and silences: [short pause], [long silence]
– A sentence that stops in the middle: end it with a dash —
– A word you can’t make out: [unclear]; a word you’re unsure of: [maybe: tomorrow]
– The voice itself: [laughs], [crying], [whispers], [shouting], [sighs], [voice trembling], [sarcastic]
– Sounds around the voice: [traffic], [TV in background], [a child crying], [dishes], [rain], [a door slams]
– Music: [music: a song on the radio]
– Another voice in the recording: [another voice: “hurry up”]
For emphasis, write the stressed word in CAPITALS — but only when it really matters.
If the language changes, note it: [switches to Arabic], [in Neapolitan].

CONSENT AND PRIVACY
- If you recorded the message yourself (sent message): With your consent, we may use the original audio and/or its text, possibly in an edited form, within the performance.
- If the message contains another person’s voice (received message): Submit only the transcript. When transcribing a message received from someone else, remove all identifying information. Omit all identifying details, including: Addresses, Phone numbers, Financial information, First and last names of other people. Strong emotions are welcome; personal data is not. If selected, the anonymous transcribed text will be reinterpreted by our actors, and the author of the original voice message will remain unidentifiable.
You may complete the form and participate in the open call anonymously. Contact details and personal data will not be shared with the artists and will never be made public.
DEADLINE
To participate in the open call, voice messages must be submitted no later than 12.00 pm on 2 September 2026 through the Jotform.
