SONDA Luca Vitone: Trallalero

SONDA is Voce Triennale's format for artistic and sound experiments in the form of installations. This event is dedicated to Trallallero by Vitone, a Genoa-based visual artist. The work is a sound installation inspired by the traditional Ligurian singing practice of the same name.

Through a choir of male voices performing without instrumental accompaniment, the work immerses audiences in the world of Genoese trallalero, a musical tradition rooted in popular culture and tavern life, built on the interplay of vocal registers and harmonies. Balancing tradition and immersive listening, the installation conveys the collective power of this musical form, transforming the space into an environment shaped and inhabited by song.
