At Voce Triennale we host the second event of Manuale di una Hit, a series of three sessions that combines talks and listening experiences to explore how success is shaped in today’s pop and rap landscape. Musicologist and radio host Claudio Biazzetti joins Miles, the young producer and singer who has become a prominent figure in the Italian urban music scene.
Through the listening of stems—the individual elements that make up a track—the session retraces the creative process behind a hit, from production and sound design to the initial ideas and the construction of an artistic identity. A true guide to understanding how musical success takes shape today.
Miles (Rome, 2002) began producing music at the age of eleven using Fruity Loops 11, starting a journey that soon led him to collaborate with some of the leading names in the Italian music scene. His talent came to wider attention with the production of Star Wars (platinum-certified) by Machete feat. Fabri Fibra and Massimo Pericolo, one of the standout tracks from Machete Mixtape 4, which marked the beginning of his collaboration with the Machete Crew.
In 2020, he took part in Bloody Vinyl 3 alongside Slait, thasup, and Low Kidd (double platinum), and in the same year produced ANNA’s Fast while contributing to several productions for X Factor with Hell Raton. In 2021, he strengthened his collaboration with ANNA by producing Squeeze #1 and Drippin’ in Milano (platinum), and co-wrote Testamento (La resa dei conti) with Slait and Low Kidd for the TV series Gomorrah. In 2022, he established himself as one of Italy’s leading producers, working on Lazza’s album SIRIO, co-producing and mixing Rondodasosa’s Trenches Baby, and collaborating once again with ANNA on the EP Lista 47. This was followed by productions for Rose Villain, Greg Willen, Sally Kruz, Mike Defunto, and Annalisa, including the remix of Mon Amour. Among these projects, 100 Messaggi by Lazza (four-times platinum), produced with Drillionaire, stands out. In 2024, he played a key role in ANNA’s album Vera Baddie (four-times platinum), producing many of its hit tracks. In 2025, he worked on Artie 5ive’s Sogno Americano (gold-certified) and produced ANNA’s summer hit Désolée (gold-certified).
