Eccesso di Ablazione

Originally conceived as an audiovisual installation performance as part of Un suono in estinzione, a project exploring the effects of climate change on Alpine glaciers through sound, the work is presented here as a listening experience based on an archive of more than 20,000 hours of recordings collected using bioacoustic recorders. At Voce Triennale, the sound material fills the space and resonates with the audience, offering a new perspective on the transformation of some of the most fragile ecosystems and on the soundscape of the glacier.
